MECHANOCHEMICAL ACTIVATION IN SYNTHESIS OF BISMUTH SALTS

Earlier we have investigated bismuth (III) oxogallate monohydrate C_6H_2(OH)_3COOBiOH_2O and bismuth (III) tartratahydrotrartrate trihydrate [Bi(C_4H_4O_6)(C_4H_5O_6)]-3H_2O by X-ray, thermogravimetry, chemical analysis, electronic microscopy and IR-spectroscopy. The expediency of the synthesis of the compounds of high purity on the reaction between solid oxohydroxybismuth (III) nitrate trihydrate and a solution of gallic or tartaric acid was shown.
