Now besides ball loading for mechanical activation (MA) of materials cylinder rods are used which during wear get ellipsoidal forms. Such a form can provide more effective process of MA [1]. It was carried out a numerical estimation for a ball mill of influence of the form change of mobile milling tools (from a sphere to an ellipsoid) on parameters quartz MA.
