Optimization of Parameters of Blast Furnace Smelting Under Conditions of Plant Operation With Limited Supply of Coke, Natural Gas or Iron-Bearing Materials

Based on extended theoretical and actual plant operational experiences, the author discusses the strategy of selecting main blast furnace parameters (hot blast pressure, temperature and volume; oxygen, natural gas and steam injection: and top pressure level) with a charging mode and scheduled shutdowns in real conditions of the flow of raw materials and fuel. Recommendations can be provided based on real life situations.
