Study on Safety Evaluation Model of Blast Furnace Hearth and Application

In recent years, with the development of science and technology and the operation improvement of ironmaking workers, the long campaign life of blast furnace (BF) has gradually become the focus attention of scholars. There are two areas to limit the long campaign life of BF: the broken of cooling stave used on belly and bosh, the erosion of carbon brick lined on hearth sidewall. Among them, the erosion of carbon brick lined on hearth sidewall is the key limiting for BF.
