摘要

This paper presents an accelerated depreciation policy to promote Management Systems energy in the Brazilian steel industry. The investments in this area are very capital-intensive and must be promoted through special policies. Are analyzed the energetic flows inventory in steel production systems, the converting flow of a gas in potential of generation, structure and types of projection scenarios and the depreciation structure in Brazil. In the integrated steel mill plants case through the steel gases using, the hypothesis that is possible generate electric energy to increase the energy efficiency is tested. In this paper is considered the furnace gas using in a midsize steel plant, and are presented economical and technical potential in different analyzed scenarios.
