Q3Intelligence: An Integrated Data Acquisition, Analysis and Problem Solving Platform Ready for Insertion Into Existing Plants

Q3 Intelligence, already commissioned in several steel plants, is a multi-area platform for the real-time monitoring and analysis of plant data. It is a powerful tool for production managers, quality assurers, process engineers, planning, scheduling and other business process key users, and allows such to focus on the monitoring and analysis of process data, thus reducing the time needed to reveal the underlying reasons for production anomalies. Using multidimensional and in-memory technologies, data is stored in a unified model extending over multiple plant areas via an automated data acquisition system, with the inclusion of external data quality measurements and data normalization procedures. Specific knowledge and intelligence are embedded into a pre-loaded analysis environment with which to process existing plant data by means of interactive web dashboards, Key Performance Indicators (KPI), advanced statistical analyses and real-time visualization on mobile devices. A tested go-live methodology is incorporated to optimize the software configuration so as to minimize the start-up times, via flexible interfaces with all the main types of data sources.
