Siemens provides a wide portfolio of Long Rolling solutions tailored for the customer’s success in the global steel industry. Given the rapidly changing economic environment we understand it is important for the producers so implement affordable solutions in the shortest time possible. With innovations and leading technology it is possible to provide reliable rolling mills which are easy to operate and maintain. Reduced delivery times and fast installation contribute to a high return-on – investment and complement the excellent performance of the technology provided. The additional and supplement service offerings for training ensure short learning curves and seamless operations after start up. This paper presents the wide offerings of Siemens VAI Long rolling with a special focus on low investment solutions of about 0.3 million t/year capacity with maximum productivity. The solutions are offered and directly implemented through regional competence and expertise, brought to the market by skilled local engineers, facilitated by local manufacturing capacities and in full compliance to the local environmental regulations.
