Windpower regime and cost development: The wind power production cost at a good coastal site has decreased from around 14 Eurocent per kWh in 1984 to 8 Eurocent per kWh in 1991 and around 4-5 Eurocent per kWh in 2003. The wind power regulation regime has been the fixed price/feed in model, or a "Political price-/amount market" system. This motivates to decreasing prices on wind turbines, as more windmills can be sold if the prices on wind turbines are lowered.
