Our 2D numerical simulations confirm a possibility of excitation of hydrodynamic turbulence in the accretion disk due to shear instability under finite-amplitude perturbations and at high Reynolds number. These results disproves the well-known claims about the impossibility to excite the turbulence in accretion disks by hydrodynamic shear instability. Our estimations have shown that the development of turbulence results in the value of accretion rate corresponding to the SS-coefficient in the range 0.08 ÷ 0.15.
