摘要

The simulation of flows in porous media and structures with similar complexity is a classical application field of the lattice Boltzmann Method. This is due to their superiority in accuracy and efficiency compared to other finite approximations used in CFD. In the present paper we make use of this fact and review some results of LBM simulations to characterize the hydrodynamics in various micro scale flow problems, i.e. the flow through textile structures or fibres and past rough surfaces in lubrication.
