In an effort to ensure that U.S. science and engineering students graduate with the necessary skill sets to succeed as members of the global workforce, ABET has enunciated the need for engineering graduates to possess "the broad education necessary to understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global economic, environmental and societal context" [1]. In this paper, we present an approach to developing global skills in tomorrow's technical leaders, as well as the need for assessing the impact of these efforts.
