Solar Thermal Demonstration Plant Plan for 20MW Tokyo Titech-Beam Down Concentration System

摘要

Tokyo Institute of Technology is now developing the beam-down concentration solar thermal power generation system (BD-STP) with four innovative technologies, although Japan had suspended the development of the solar thermal power plant after New Sunshine project at Nio-cho in Shikoku Island. The international project to develop the BD-STP with the four innovative technologies has been submitted (and will be approved) from Tokyo Institute of Technology to the MRN (Masdar Research Network), which functions as an implementing agency for the Masdar Initiative in Abu Dhabi (UAE). In this project, 20MW demonstration plant of BD-STP will be constructed and proved the system.
