Long and narrow (L&N) Artificial channels are features of many ports like Qinghuangdao Port,Tianjin Port,Huanghua Port,Jingtang Port,Yingkou Port,Jingzhou Port along the coast of the North China Sea,especially in Bohai Bay.Navigation within the L&N artificial channels are affected more seriously by fog than natural channels by other factors.Making a breakthrough in reducing the impact of fog so as to promote safety and effectiveness of navigation within L&N artificial channels is one of the keys to breaking the bottleneck of L&N artificial channels.
