The Detecting for the Axial Force of the Bolt Using Piezo Cable (The detecting for the axial and shearing force applied to the bolt)

摘要

This study tried that axial and shearing forces of the bolt were detected using the piezo cable. The piezo cable has the piezoelectricity, and it doesn't need power supply. So the piezo cable is able to use for detecting an axial and shearing force of the bolt, it is possible to make smart bolt. The piezo cable was included in the top of bolt, and the measurement was tried to the axial and shearing force actually. The strain measurement method using strain gage was compared with the method using the piezo cable.
