One Lab - Combining Metrology and Testing into One Work Management Tool

For many metrology laboratories, there are responsibilities beyond the basic calibration of test equipment. A very viable part of this is testing performed as a function of research, quality indexing or failure analysis. With the onset of cost cutting initiatives, it is critical to have a crisp control over the resources that are used in all of these aspects of a laboratory. This paper discusses the development of new integrations within our laboratory that allows a clean transition of work and resources from one task to the next. The final product of an initiative such as this will be a single laboratory that is versatile and efficient in the manner in which it processes the required workload.
