Maintenance and process improvement by means of innovation- and ideamanagement as well as analysis of critical points

Continuously increasing cost consciousness and pressure of competition increase the necessity and importance of optimization based on tried risk assessment. Maintenance and process optimization can be carried out, either as bottom up "ideamanagement" or top down as "analysis of critical points". The first part of the presentation illustrates prerequisites for a successful ideamanagement based on the classic quality management approach according to DEMING in form of case study. Part 2 introduces selected methods for the analysis of critical points in accordance with the Six Sigma DMAIC-Logic including a concept for implementation of such proceedings based on the 4 pillars of change management. Finally the various stumbling blocks which may be encountered during implementation are discussed and it is demonstrated, how to ensure a positive development which is sustainable and which can be substantiated with facts and figures.
