Characteristics of Radiated Emission from Phase-Unbalanced Differential Signal Lines

In this research, the differential signal trace with a level difference was modeled, and the characteristics of the radiated emission and the common-mode voltage caused by the phase-unbalanced sources were investigated. As a result, it was found that the increase in the emission was caused by the increase of common-mode voltage. Compensation of the phase shift caused by the difference between wiring lengths and other problems are our future works.
