A key question for operators is how to cope with soaring complexity while at the same time enabling the long-heralded operational paradigm shift toward network automation and a true service and business focus. With the OSS industry coming of age, there is a growing awareness of the necessity to provide standardized, interworking, and generic OSS applications. The TeleManagement Forum is the primary driver in providing the necessary standards that vendors, together with operators, will translate into better operations processes.
