Last years we have been immersed in a quite interesting evolution of the use of web technologies for teaching purposes. Considering different perspectives, we have tried to analyse the various variables that influence in the way these technologies areimplemented in different upper educational styles. In this paper we try to present a global model containing the variables previously considered in the literature in a partial way, with the idea of contrasting in later studies the obtained model in three main different university styles: traditional presence university, distance university and virtual one. We have differentiated two main behaviours: lectures and students ones. We try to receive expert feedback on the present model in order to improve it for further applications.
