摘要

Atrial fibrillation (AF) is a common arrhythmia in advanced heart failure. The occurrence of AF increased risk of death in patients with heart failure. In different studies atrial late potentials or pathological chemoreflexsensitivity (CHRS) were often found in patients with paroxysmal AF (1,2). This prospective study were investigated on the basis of these observations (1) in order to examine these methods for predicting AF in patients with a left ventricular ejection fraction below 40% without a prior documentation of AF.
