The process of liquid flow takes place frequently inside a highly compressible porous layer (HCPL). In such cases, the elastic forces of the HCPL solid phase are negligible, compared to the hydrodynamic forces. These processes were named, [1] ex-poro-hydrodinamic (XPHD). A study of the impact process in XPHD conditions, for circular and rectangular aligned plates was recently performed and presented by the authors [2].
