Geometry of the groove left on the surface and of the 'self healing' in case of polymer scratching

The scratch resistance of polymer surfaces is critical for the optical or protective application. Polymers exhibit large elastic and viscoelastic contributions during both indentation and scratch tests and a finer analysis is required to elucidate the surface recovering.
