摘要

Due to high glass-formation ability (GFA), high mechanical strength and good corrosion resistance, Zr-based bulk metallic glass have promising application for structural materials. But the high hardness and low plastic deformation ability restrict the application of Zr-based bulk metallic glasses. Recently, homogeneous deformation of metallic glasses in supercooled liquid region seems to be benefit in solving the problem. The purpose of the present study is to provide a principle for fabrication of a Zr_(55)Cu_(30)Al_(10)Ni_5 bulk metallic glass by glass/crystallization transformation curve.
