PCI diagrams describe the thermodynamic property of a hydrogen storage material. For LiNH_2-LiH as hydrogen storage material, however, difficulties in obtaining samples that is suitable for PCI measurement still remain unsolved, e.g: a) heterogeneity of the reaction system and serious agglomeration which would possibly lead to the incompleteness of the de- and rehydrogenation reaction (b) undesired thermal decomposition of LiNH_2, which leads to the consumption of the reactant and reduce the hydrogen storage capacity. It is therefore very important to optimize the reaction conditions to obtain good and reproducible cycled samples which will possibly shows stable de- and rehydrogenation behavior.
