Experimental study on phase equilibria in the Ni-rich part of Ni-Ga binary system

摘要

Determination of equilibria in Ni-Ga-Fe and Ni-Ga-Co ternary systems was recently performed by the authors because of interest provoked by the identification in these two systems of new ferromagnetic shape memory alloys. This study has showed moreover that ternary systems traces were not reliable with the reference plotting of Ni-Ga binary system. Experimental investigations were carried out to understand the origin of this incompatibility.
