摘要

The mechanism for formation of a bulge at internal green body of large potteries was clarified. It was found that the internal bulge was formed by contacting slurry without fully being mixed. This caused higher cake growth compared to other parts because of the high water absorption- of the gypsum mold at the bulge portion. This mechanism was supported by the results of measuring the moisture content of some parts of gypsum mold and changing the flow channel of gypsum mold.
