摘要

Electrophoretic deposition (EPD) process was applied to a fabrication of membrane-electrode assembly (MBA) onto a composite membrane composed of a macroporous silica membrane and proton-conducting gel electrolyte. The obtained catalyst layer was uniformly well-attached to the composite membrane. By using the EPD method, the thickness and density of catalyst layer can be controlled, and the catalyst layer can be formed without any internal mechanical stress on the composite membrane.
