Improvement of the vacuum treatment of the railroad wheel steel

High quality of wheels and tires is one of the main conditions to provide the reliability of the modern railway transport. Growth of customers' requirements to the wheels properties causes the necessity of development of efficient technologies for wheels manufacture. Technological improvements in ladle treatment provide the observance of all domestic and foreign standards requirements to chemical compound and properties of wheels produced by the JSC Interpipe Nyzhnedneprovsky tube rolling works (Interpipe NTW).
