A Simple Model of the Air Conditioning Installation of a Compartmented Railway Coach

The paper is presenting a simple model of an a compartmented railway coach's air conditioning installation. Due to its simplicity the model may be used as internal model in adaptive controllers. Its conception is a structural deterministic one: the functional model of the installation is divided in basic blocks that may be modeled by first order subsystems with death time. The model is implemented in Simulink-Matlab and validated for a Corail passenger railway coach.
