Double-diffusive natural convection covers numerous potential applications in porous media, and it has attracted the attention of several scientists. This phenomena, occurs through porous media in many systems and in nature, including the disposal of waste material, ground-water contamination, chemical transport in packed-bed reactors, food processing, etc. Double-diffusion may exhibit unsteadiness and complex flows patterns, bifurcations, etc., see Trevisan and Bejan [12], Alavyoon et al. [1], Mamou et al. [7], Nield and Bejan [9] and Bennacer et al. [3]. The double-diffusive natural convection has been analysed chronologically for the onset of motion in a horizontal porous layer heated and salted from below, also for differentially heated enclosures with the vertical sides subjected to aiding or opposing horizontal solutal gradients in isotropic or anisotropic porous media, see Bennacer et al. [2,6]. Many practical applications involve configurations subjected to either vertical or horizontal gradients of heat and mass. Also, fluid filled enclosures with cross fluxes of heat and mass have been investigated, see Bennacer et al. [4] and Mohamad and Bennacer [8].
