Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program Overview-(PPT)

The PMO's name has changed from Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Systems (UAVS) to Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). This is a significant change in Army 'mind set'. Shadow OPTEMPO has doubled in last 6 months. The Shadow mishap rate has dropped by 75%. Fielding units in CONUS and OCONUS simultaneously. Established Joint IPT with Navy and Air Force counterparts to work commonality, interoperability and standardization issues. PM UAS has stood up a Common Systems Integration (CSI) Office. The UAS PMO Operations Center is actively engaged in supporting the warfighter. Completed 4 major source selections. Updated our Shadow PBL Metrics to enhance Reliability and Cost efficiency.
