摘要

Some polymer/layered compound nanocomposites were prepared by different methods. The nanocomposite structures were shown by the X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and High Resolution Electronic Microscope (HREM). It was shown that there was different structure influenced by preparing method, particle size and other compounds. The thermal stability and flame retardant property were also investigated; the synergistic effect between layered compounds and flame retardants and their mechanism are discussed in this paper.
