In an increasingly more volatile electricity market, grid stability and security are becoming of upmost importance. To provide the framework for grid requirement, Transmission System Operators have been devising over years "grid codes", binding the rights and duties of grid users. Requirements for generators are often differing from grid code to grid code and are not always tied to international standards.
