Furan derivatives in oil: assessment of the deterioration of winding insulation of a hermetically sealed power transformer, New results.

摘要

Problems of assessing the overall deterioration of the cellulosic insulation of a hermetically sealed oil power transformer based on the examination of the concentration of 2-furfural (2FAL) in oil are analysed. Five illustrating examples are presented. These examples concern 400 kV network transformers of various design (type). All transformers have been made in a hermetically sealed version and are in operation in the Czech 400 kV network.
