Durability of the hollow thread for medical treatments of PLA

摘要

This paper deals that durability of the hollow thread for medical treatments of poly lactic acid were studied, as a result of making a 37°C physiology salt solution immersed and performing long-term durability test, remarkable degradation was not seen. In contrast heat degradation were confirmed on the 60°C test. Moreover, the activity energy of poly lactic acid was estimated from the result of a creep examination. Consequently, activity energy was 39kcal/mol.
