In-situ fiber formation of biodegradable polymer blend material was investigated. The polylacticacid (PLA) was used as matrix, and the polycaproractone (PCL), Polybuthylenesuccinate (PBS), and co-polyester (co-PE) polymer were used as dispersed phases. The high hydrodynamic stress was applied to the dispersions for generating fiber reinforcement. The fibrous morphologies of each polymer blends were observed, but the tensile modulus and strength were slightly decreased owing to addition of soft dispersions. The ultimate strains of the PCL and PBS blend system were increased remarkably. The fibrous structure would have effect on the ultimate displacement of blend materials.
