The current study is mainly focused on the modification of thermal transport properties of plasma working gases and their interaction to calcium-phosphate solution used of hydroxyapatite (HA) synthesis via solution precursors plasma spraying (SPPS). Argon (45 slpm) and hydrogen (5 slpm) were the primary gas and secondary gas used. The concentration of solution was varied and it was injected at different feed rates. Thermal conductivity and modified ability of heating factor were calculated numerically and it was found out that these parameters increased with an addition of the solution. Moreover, these parameters were influenced by solution feed rate rather than its concentration. On the other hand, viscosity was not affected by the presence of solution regardless of the rate and concentration. The morphologies of HA coatings synthesized in the process were studied.
