The Effect of Anti-Insect Air Curtain at the Gate of Food and Drug Factory

The prevention of small insects into the factory of food or drug industry is very important for the quality control. In Japan, the most of anti-insect air curtains are installed with automatical high speed open/close vinyl curtain, based on HACCP concept. We examined the actual efficiency of improved anti-insect air curtain at operational food factory. And we developed proposal test methods to determine the efficiency of anti-insect air curtain. We report the effective air distribution of anti-insect air curtain and the simple test methods at the site in this paper.
