In this study, we clarified the emission of chemical substances from housing equipment on construction methods by small and large chamber methods, and suggested that the emission of chemical substances reduced by using a backup material. It were measured the emission rates from sealant, which was used housing equipment on construction method, with a backup material or not. As a result, the initial emission rates of sealant between using backup material or not did not change, however the emission rates of sealant with a backup material decreased earlier than without a backup material. We suggested that it was caused by quantity of use of sealant.
