To prevent from increasing the amount of ventilation, a circulating ventilation system with air filtration devices has been developed. This ventilation system can bring the purified air into rooms. In this study, we determined the removal performance of the ventilation system by using the chemical substance constant-emission test in an enviromental chamber. Results showed that the formaldehyde removal rates were ranged from 23.4 to 48.8 [percent] and the VOCs ones were ranged from 12.4 to 34.4[percent]. The equivalent clean air rate or ECAR [m~3/h] offormaldehye was ranged from 17.5 to 36.0 [m~3/h] and the one of VOCs was ranged from 9.3 to 25.5[m~3/h] during its initial operations.
