摘要

Though a lot of knowledge of the influence on the ventilation rate has been individually obtained, it seems to be an ordinary method to design the HVAC system based on the designer's or client's own personal experiences. The most important reason seems to be the lack of the method to design the inlets, exhausts, and airspeeds totally. This study aimed to make a design method that can totally determine the most suitable layout of inlets, exhausts and airflow speeds from the viewpoint of ventilation rate, by using Genetic Algorithm (GA). In this report the fundamental way of thinking and examples are shown.
