The history of technological development has always been related with political or economical interests. Communication technologies are specially linked with capital, and capital is articulated with power. It is no secret that communication and information technologies have been used through the history of human kind and its political affaires as means of perpetuating the established political agenda. Those who possess the economical and political power are therefore more capable of making decisions related not only with the terms in which communication technologies are directed, but also as to which contents should be transmitted by the latter.
