In order to improve the rate of penetration (ROP) of hard formation and ensure well-bore quality under high ROP, oil drilling industries around world are paying more attention to the fluid percussion-rotary drilling technology (FPDT). The FPDT is added a hammer in conventional drilling stem, and the hammer is driven by high pressure drilling fluid. In percussion-rotary drilling, the hammer moves up and down, resulting in strikes on anvil. The bit breaks formation under the combination of percussion and rotation. Because Model DGSC fluid hammer owns the features of simple structure, less movable parts, easily adjustable performance, reliable stability and long lifetime, the fluid hammer can be easily expanded and applied in fields. The technology has a good prosperity.
