摘要

We know that, "conversion and control" of electric power is essential in many applications, like home appliances, Industries, etc. For that, Power Electronics is the only best option & therefore the simplified design of power electronics converters is more important in a present scenario for SMI & MSI. For the design of such converters, industries & small scale entrepreneurs uses latest software by investing high amount of capital & running cost which may be Non-Economical for SMI. This paper mainly focuses on the design of converters which uses "Microsoft Excel as a design tool" that can be affordable by any entrepreneur, SMI and MSI. Here any converter circuit can be designed by appropriate analysis at various stages of converter or electric drive for ratings like; average output voltage/current, p.f, motor's speed, motor's torque at different firing angle, etc. This tool provides flexibility in design & analysis of wide input/output range for Power Electronics converters & Drives.
