摘要

Fungal infection may decrease hatching rate of Salmonid eggs.sSaprolegniasis is a kind of fungal disease offish and their eggs caused by Saprolegniacea (Nago, 2000). Malachite green had been used in fish culture to control fungal diseases. However theU.S Food and Drug Administration (FDA) withdrew malachite green in 1991 because of its teratogenicity (Marking et al., 1994). In Iran, it is still in use for aquaculture practices. An alternative is hydrogen peroxide, which is used for ectoparasites offreshwater fishes (How et al., 1996)
