HEAVY METALS AND NITROZAMINE CONCENTRATIONS IN SOME COMMERCIAL FISH SPECIES IN THE BLACK SEA

At present time heavy metals and biogens are the main pollutants of the Black Sea ecosystem. They widely distribute in marine water and in sediments. Heavy metals accumulate in various aquatic animals especially in fish and mollusks resulted seafood dangerous for people health (Rudneva & Petzold-Bradley, 2001). Additionally the assessment of potential health hazards of the nitrozamines, one of the most potent group of carcinogens is very important to know for ecological risk of seafood also. Thus thegoal of the present work is to study the levels of toxic metals and nitrozamines in some commercial fish species of the Black Sea.
