ASSESSMENT OF PCBS IN FARMED SEA BASS (D. LABRAX) AND SEA BREAM (S. AURATA)

摘要

There is an extensive literature on the presence of PCBs in the aquatic environment and biota but little as been published in aquaculture system or products from aquaculture over more from Mediterranean countries. The determination of these contaminants in fish and identification of the original sources of contamination are important for dietary exposure assessment and the protection of public health particularly in view of the increasing availability to the consumer of farmed European sea bass and sea bream.
