摘要

The turbot (Scophthalmus maximus) is a flatfish of great commercial value. New genomic strategies are being implemented to address the main problems of turbot culture, including analysis of gene expression through microarray hybrization and QTL identification previous construction of genetic maps of appropriate density. The number of genetic markers reported in turbot is quite limited, only 30 microsatellite loci being described to date. The aim of this study was to characterise AFLP markers and to obtain a preliminary linkage map in turbot together with the extent microsatellites, using gynogenetic haploid embryos.
