ZIKASORB Series: The Innovative Anti-Yellowing Solution for Polyurethane.（文摘）

摘要

ZIKASORB~R series is a group of light stabilizers largely depending on the formamidine UV absorber whose chemical structure is relatively new to the market and distinguished from the conventional benzophenone and benzotriazole UV absorbers. ZIKASORB~R series represents a major performance breakthrough in the UV stabilizer industry. Excellent UV absorbing and heat resisting properties of ZIKASORB~R series make it an effective way of prolonging the service lifetime of the polymers. Especially, in terms of protecting polyurethane from UV radiation, ZIKASORB~R series outperforms the majority of previously commercialized UV stabilizers. In general, aromatic polyurethane easily undergoes rapid yellowing followed by deterioration of both physical and mechanical properties because of its high sensitivity to UV radiation. ZIKASORB~R series drastically retards the yellowing of polyurethane and prolongs the service lifetime of polyurethane products. Choosing the right absorber is not a simple task.
