Telechelic polymers are used in many industries from the foam to emulsion to fiber. These materials phase separate into soft and hard blocks where the end groups usually constitute the hard block to create a robust network. Ideally, these materials should be designed so that the hard blocks are easily disintegrated under processing conditions and then instantaneously phase separate to form the network and hence the product.
